As we know that there
are several language functions; vocative function, expressive function,
informative function, Aesthetic function, phatic function, and metalingual
function. (For Further Information on language function, you can consult A Text Book Of Translation by New Mark.)
Then, make a
translation example of each language fuction, except for aesthetic function , phatic function,and expressive function,
in accordance with a rule as follows:
1. The topic is free.
2. Don’t forget to
indicate the source of the material ( magazine, newspaper, etc)
3. Internet- derived
materials are not allowed.
2. Each topic must consist of 100 words at least and of 150 words at most.
3. The translation text can be English-Indonesia and
vice versa.
